Patients First
Healthcare App
The Patients First Case Study aims to understand patient experiences within the healthcare system, and their needs and pain points. By analyzing patient experience, interactions, appointment processes, communication dynamics, and access to services, we identify opportunities for improvement that can lead to enhanced patient-centered care.

Problem
Limited access to timely healthcare services due to the inadequacy of traditional communication and appointment scheduling processes
HMW Question
How can we use technology to make it easier and faster for patients to connect with healthcare professionals and schedule appointments to reduce delays in accessing primary care services?
Goal Setting
Finding a solution to reduce delays and inefficiencies in communicating by designing user-friendly digital technologies so that to facilitate quicker and more convenient connections between patients and healthcare professionals.
Challenge
Data Security
Protecting patient data from unauthorized access or breaches is a top priority and ensuring the secure handling of sensitive patient information.
We solved this challenge by simplifying the authentication process by creating user-friendly login interfaces that incorporate secure yet easily understandable features, such as biometric authentication or multi-factor authentication.
